SOWITEC sells six Wind Projects totaling 552 MW in Brazil and signed a contract for a 130 MW PV-project in Colombia
Sonnenbühl, February 18th, 2020 – The SOWITEC group, one of the leading developers of renewable energy projects in the wind and solar sector, has sold five wind projects in Brazil with a total capacity of 483 MW to a major international Power Utility. All projects are part of a 1.000 MW wind cluster in the state of Bahia. As well in the state of Bahia additional 69 MW of a wind project with a final capacity of up to 800 MW could be sold to a big European Power Utility. For the projects bilateral Power Purchase Agreements are already signed in the free market.
Another big success could be achieved in Colombia with the signature of a Project Development Agreement of a 130 MW solar project with a big European Power Utility. The project is located in the Northeast of the country.
